As you continue on to the 'forums' section of this site ('Enter Support Forums'), you will be able to view most of the board and get a clear idea of whether this might be a place you would like to belong.

A BIT OF HISTORY
IGDID was first started in 2007, though many of us have been together for several years. The community began with Cozybear (now deceased) and Felicity. We started the community as a safe place where folks could talk openly without fear of censorship. Our vision and mission, have not changed since the board was founded. Our focus has remained one of respect and validation. We believe that kindness, cooperation, and collaboration is crucial to all of us as we work toward healing.
Our community has now evolved into what we had envisioned. Members are kind, supportive, friendly, accepting, and fantastic in every way. The support forums are always active - averaging about 50-70 members on the board at one time, 500+ posts per day. There are nearly 1500 members, about half of those currently active. Our chat rooms are audio/video interactive and open to advanced members all of the time. We are a community serious about healing and openly sharing and supporting, but also enjoy fun activities like card/gift exchanges, playing games on the board, and chatting with friends.
